LIFE AS A PRISONER OF WAR


During a lot of time Colombia has been life a permanent conflict characterized by use an intense violence and kidnapped innocent people. People have kidnapped suffer many physical and psychological responses. When this people return to free need a medical and psyquiatric support.

To start was a prisoner of war is a terrifying and hard experience. The hostages have many physical responses such as weight loss due to fact they only eat some fruits, insects and have walking distances very great between the mountains. Another cause is viral diseases due to fact they haven’t access to purified water and are bitten by insects that transmit diseases.

On the other hand, a kidnapped experience affects the neurological system of the hostages with many psychological responses such as delirium due to fact they feel locked up and are threatened of death of the terrorist. Also, the hostages can think about the suicide due to fact the terrorist strike them and treat bad.

In summary, the life as a prisoner of war is very impressive due to fact a hostage suffer many physical and psychological responses had the terrorist threatened of death, strike them, and the hostages are vulnerable to different diseases.
